Placement and Safety: Place the traps in active mole tunnels for maximum effectiveness. Make sure the trap is correctly aligned within the tunnel. For safety, mark the sides of the trap with a red flag to avoid any accidental injuries.

Best Timing: The ideal time to set mole traps is during periods when moles are most active. This is typically early spring or fall. Set the traps before sunset, when moles are most active.
